The product is a range of optic mounts and platforms designed to offer users a faster sight picture than regular height mounts. It has a 2.26" optical centerline height to make it easier to acquire a reticle while using communication headsets, night vision goggles, and gas masks. It also promotes a heads-up posture for quick visual processing of the battlefield.
The Optic Riser boosts direct-to-rail red dot optics with a standard lower 1/3 cowitness picatinny mount to a 2.26″ optical center line. The FAST Optic Riser creates an elevated M1913 Picatinny platform for attaching other optics that are "lower 1/3."
The Riser is specifically for 1/3" mounted optics and is made of 7075-T6 Aluminum with Type III, Hardcoat Anodized finish. It has a 2.26" Optical Centerline Height and a Standard Rail Grabber Mount (Picatinny). It's made of Precision Machined Aircraft Matte Black Anodized Aluminum, and its transparent design allows for the use of the original iron monuments.
